Hi all
from the chat-terboxes up here this week a few observations, all 
from the Top End, though we are growing into Central Oz as I write:
(note that these observations are not vetted, and must not be 
published elsewhere) 

Brolga (155)                    Holmes Jungle (edge of Darwin)
Red Goshawk                     Jabiru petrol station (undated, 2nd hand)
Black Falcon                    Knuckey Lagoon (edge of Darwin)
Oriental Plover 150+    Nightcliff (suburban Darwin)
Little Curlew, on reef  Nightcliff (suburban Darwin)
Redshank                                McMinns Lagoon (rural Darwin)
Flock Pigeon, 3(?)              Kakadu NP visitors centre
White-breasted Whistler [eating a crab], Nightcliff (suburban Darwin)
Rainbow Bee-eater [nesting]     Palmerston, near Darwin
