Think that it has been well reported elsewhere (incl TV News, I believe)
but Emu's are apperently thick along both sides of the Murray.
Virtually every roadside paddock between the SA border and Mildura had
dozens when I went through on 26th August but saw only small numbers in
Soth Aust between Alice Springs ans the SA border on 25th and 26th. Also
talked to someone (can't remember who!) who reported large numbers
walking south as they drove along the Kidman Way about the same time.

Barry.
