I believe what we call bird's knees are actually their ankles - their knees
are hidden under their feathers. Thus it should be Bush Thick-ankle (that's
why I prefer Stone-curlew). And their ankles bend just like ours.

Please, people, correct me if I am wrong (I am sure you will).
