It is up to the developers of websites to get their sites "linked" on other
websites. If you put a link to someone's site on yours, and tell them about it,
they will only be too happy to do the same.
But you need to inform them to start with. So any bird clubs whose websites
not mentioned anywhere else should point the finger at whoever developed their
site.
And another thing, in the source code for a website you can include key
words that will make it easier for search engines to find them. Altavista and
others have no trouble finding the above two sites. You can check & edit the
code by clicking on tools - view source (in IE) or view - page source in
Netscape.
Gluepot sells car stickers and now also t-shirts, polo shirts, sweaters,
and caps. I am yet to update the website to include pictures of the merchandise
and an order form.
