G,day to Reg Clark and others who may have heard this "Nocturnal Activity" - I too have heard this during early morning hours exactly as you described, but of course was unable to see anything when I went outside. To me it sounded very much like the call of the Yellow-tailed Black Cockatoo. (I did consider Flying Foxes but it didn't seem quite right for them.) Any other explanations? --Brian Lee, Gymea, N.S.W.
