Dear Lorna,

I saw your request for info regarding access and birding at Lake Eyre.

Two things I'd like to hear from you if possible are what you were able to glean from birding-aus or any other source and if you have been out to the lake yet and how that went.

I'm very keen to see this beautiful sight as I'll probably be about 90 when Lake Eyre fills again.

I had arranged to set out late June for Darwin with a friend, in my 4wd ute but am trying to decide whether to go via the lake on the way there or back. I suspect there but I need a bit more to go on.
