Pete You've made my day. I've printed off your comment to read on the very rare occasions I hate the world. Reading your comments re Glen Ridge; some years ago I wrote to Ita Buttrose regarding the glossy trips she organised for professional women, pointing out that most of the birdwatchers I took out were also professional women and we went to places like the sewage pond. Her feature writer Bunty Turner thought I was a fruitcake but Ita really liked the idea and asked me to put together a trip for the Travel Club she started through her magazine Ita. She's been a mentor ever since. Unfortunately there are few like her.
