Sacred Kingfishers have arrived here in SE Melbourne (but they will soon leave in disappointment at the antics of the locals who have started to campaign against the Council because it decided to encourage our native water rats!). One near the Donald MacDonald Reserve on 30/9 (a fairly early date for this area) and another in Beach Park today. Have they heard Lake Eildon is only 36% full ? Looking forward to water restrictions this summer.
