Well, I think Danny has summed it up nicely, and we can probably let the matter rest there - until next year. I might add that for our Painted HE best bird in 1995 we (the Common Driving Petrel-Heads) received handerchiefs with a bird logo on them (!). I think the Babbler finders may have done a little better this year ... but I'm sorry now that the handkerchiefs didn't go to Danny and his Tern. I can't really say which is better in Victoria, as I have only managed 1 Painted HE and 1 Arctic Tern ANYWHERE. Perhaps we should run a book on "what gets best bird at the 1999 Twitchathon".....
