What great weekend bird literature... 1. Weekend Australian mag. from THE AUSTRALIAN paper on sat. had feature on Condors and bulls and festivals in the Andes. 2. In the Good Weekend mag. from the SMH there was a fantastic article on one of my great heroes, David Attenborough. His new series THE LIFE OF BIRDS premieres this Sunday night at 7:30. On the ABC I think. There are 10 50 minute episodes coming!!!!! The book is out now in ABC shops - $50. It has a toucan on the cover. Splendid exciting stuff!!!!!! LORNE. |
