I find it very interesting how things are so easily misinterpreted when conversing electronically, particularly when the people concerned aren't well acquainted. Lawrie I thought that I had merely asked a fairly innocent question regarding making judgements about which bird was "better" than another. I really don't think I need to simmer down, if I simmered down any more today, I'd be dead! It was just a question and I took the reply in the friendly manner in which, I think, it was intended. Not to worry, twitchathons are meant to be fun. However, I still suspect that some underhanded dealings were going on here. I'm convinced that a secret ballot of all those attending on the day (of which I, unfortunately, was not one) would have seen the mighty Regent Honeyeater carry the day. David |
