Dear David,
Last week I also was suprised and delighted to watch a brown goshawk chasing
a black bird at the end of our tennis court. I haven't seen this before.
Perhaps it's another symptom of the drought and the lack of other prey.
We are not exactly in the suburbs - we live on an estate with one acre
blocks and lots of parklands on the side of the Warbies near Wangaratta.
