I think that you will find that if you create your app on a PC (in
Linux) in an 800x480 window it will work exactly the same on the 7390
once it is cross compiled. I find the debugging tools on the PC much
easier to use than doing native development. If if you use a toolkit
make sure the kit that you decide on is supported on the 7300.
I have done several GUI apps and have found that they all work _exactly_
the same on the PC and on the native platform. If your app is going to
be stand-alone consider not using a window manager. This way your main
window can cover the entire 800x480 screen.
