Hello, have you set up your USB filesystem correctly? Remember that this will
only work if you have a USB drive with a working filesystem attached to the
SBC. Maybe you can try and allow more time for the process to find the
filesystem, change:
console=ttyAM0,115200 root=/dev/sda1 rootdelay=5
to
console=ttyAM0,115200 root=/dev/sda1 rootdelay=10
