This is how I did it (using a Windows PC)
When you buy a micro-SD card from the shops, it usually comes pre-formatted
with FAT. However, if you just put it into the TS7800 slot and try to mount it,
it will not be recognised! (don't know why)
If however, you place the micro-SD card into a Windows PC first (e.g. using the
adaptor supplied with the TS7800 devkit) and create at least one file on it,
e.g. a text file, then the TS7800 will recognise it! Don't ask me why, perhaps
someody here can explain the logic behind all this!!
Also note the mount command on the TS7800 is: "mount /dev/tssdcarda1
/mnt/mydir" For some reason it has to be "tssdcarda1" not "tssdcarda" even
though both files appear on the /dev directory, again don't know why!
Also, as far as I know, the SD card must be in the drive when the TS7800 is
booted up, I could never get the board to recognise a SD card placed in the
socket after it has been booted up (Again, anybody know why?)
Lots of questions!
