Hello Xiang --

Mr. Matthieu Crapet carries a nice patch set to apply to a vanilla kernel for the TS-72xx boards. You will find many people using and discussing his patches in the archives of this group. http://mcrapet.free.fr

There are several kernel hackers active in the TS-72xx and ep93xx maintenance, so support in vanilla kernels continue to improve. But some things won't work, or work only if you can coax a TS binary blob to load into your vanilla kernel (SD card support is one, but that's not an issue on your TS-7250)

Don't forget the TS documentation for compiling/running a 2.6 kernel too.

Finally, I think most people here are willing to help, but you will likely get better responses if you *do* list what you have tried, what documents you don't understand, and where you are stuck. That is *very* common in technical discussion groups; it is not a unique feature of this group or a trait of any culture or country, IMHO.

regards, ....... Charlie
