OK, simple questions first:
* Have you downloaded the latest version of tsadclib?
* Check the PC-104 baseaddress (in tsacdlib). Should be 0xEE000000 for ts7800
* How have you set the jumpers?  
* What does adc_status actually return?
* Have you checked and set all of the analog input settings you want, like 
SE/Diff and input range?  Are the correct values returned when you query them?
