Oke, that explains why after a reboot the new kernel isn't loaded. The method i used is based on compiling a new debian kernel and creates an installable package. The is compiled using the kernel sources we provide at ftp://ftp.embeddedA RM.com/ts- arm-sbc/ts- 7800-linux/ sources/linux- 2.6.21-ts- src-latest. tar.gz On your website I read your method of compiling a new kernel. Just to be sure. For compiling a new kernel (for a ts7800): make menuconfig make ts7800_config make oldconfig make dep and than dd the new kernel to partition 2. and for the new modules: make modules make modules_install TIA HaJee ----- Original Message ---- From: Michael Schmidt <> To: Sent: Monday, June 9, 2008 10:00:09 PM Subject: Re: [ts-7000] Boot new kernel on TS-7800 Michael Schmidt wrote: __._,_.___
