Hi,
I'll fork this as a new issue , the busyborx II thread is getting a
bit long.
there's a fair bit of crossposting and posts getting out of order on
that one because of the delay in yahoogroups posting. I hope I've
caught up on all the replies. As you'll see I had seen and used
Jesse's solution to awk. Thanks again.

Or you can just ask where the source and .config is ;) You can
download the source code here
ftp://ftp.embeddedarm.com/ts-arm-sbc/ts-7200-linux/sources/busybox-
1.00-rc2.tgz
The .config file is in the top level directory.

I did ask more than once for the config but the request remained
without responce. Good to TS is keeping a more active eye on the list
now. Thanks for the solution.

When compiling open source software and the build process fails, it is
a good idea to ask what toolchain or version of gcc you should be
using... We used gcc 3.4.4 to build busybox, you can download the
toolchain we used to build busybox with here
ftp://ftp.embeddedarm.com/ts-arm-sbc/ts-7200-linux/cross-toolchains/
crosstool-li\
nux-gcc-3.4.4-glibc-2.3.2.tar.gz

OK I'd assumed , appartently wrongly, that the debian arm image that
you provide as part of the development kit would be suitable for
building the source code that you provide for tslinux.
I'll have another look at the cross-compiler.
You said you wanted to know about any fs issues. I hope I'm correct
in thinking you were refering to root fs tarballs provided on the
server.
on the debian tarball 'find' is completely non functional and run-
parts used by debian during boot fails with a similar message.
(during if-up and if-config from memory.)
So presumably using the same compiler that TS used will not resolve
this issue.
Do you think this is an bug in busybox-1.00-rc2 or should I be
looking elsewhere?
Thanks for the support.
