Please look at my dmesg output http://arm.mydatex.cz/TS72XX/dmesg.
If you see in your dmesg output this lines:
Uniform Multi-Platform E-IDE driver Revision: 7.00alpha2

that your dive is /dev/hda1. If you don't have /dev/hda1 file create it 
with mknod.
