Hi,
I have an TS-7800. I tried to create an bootable Sdcard, and therefor
created the following partitions:
/dev/tssdcardb1 4Mb
/dev/tssdcardb2 4Mb
/dev/tssdcardb3 4Mb
/dev/tssdcardb4 rest of the card
I left partition1 empty, copied the Kernel image on the 2nd, busybox
initrd on the 3th and an debian system on the 4th, but booting didn't work:
When I wrote exit in the fastboot shell, the system made a fallback boot
on /dev/mtdblock3. So I just wanted to have a look at the mtdblock
patitions to examine that I did wrong. Mounting of /dev/mdtblock1 was a
bad Idea. It only showed me an lost+found folder and obviously crashed
the kernel image, cause booting now crashes with the message:
!00000354!00000487!00000072!000007bc!00000567>> flash ECC error!
Setting Jumper 1 to boot from sdcard just gives a
>> TS-BOOTROM - built Oct 4 2007
>> Copyright (c) 2007, Technologic Systems
and than hangs. So I think there is something wrong with the kernel
image. Was It right just to copy the vmlinux file to /dev/tssdcard2? Or
should I use dd?
Please help me.
Thanks,
Paul
