Paul,
I did the same thing, I was hoping that Technologic would have
responded to you by now. From my Fedora system where /dev/sdd is the
SD card. I dd'd the initrd-busybox-rootfs to /dev/sdd3 and mkfs -t
ext2 /dev/sdd2 then copied Image-7800-initrdroot kernel to /dev/sdd2.
Lastly I mkfs -t ext2 /dev/sdd4 and extracted the
debian-ethc-eabi-armel-512MB-oct042007 image to sdd4.
I get:

>> Copyright (c) 2007, Technologic Systems
>> Booting from SD card...
But no further, I'm just getting back to trouble-shooting. Maybe we
were a little premature buying the 7800, it just needs a little more
documentation.
