Bill, hey. I have not tried any of the serial boards, it appears that
at least the TSER1 supports the full set of control lines (
http://www.embeddedarm.com/Manuals/gs_TSER1.pdf ). I ran into a
similar problem interfacing with a radio modem, and ended up just
using COM1. Actually worked out well for me, and COM2 works fine for
the GPS, which couldn't care less about flow control. By the docs it
looks like COM3 on the 7260 should work with flow control, but I never
was able to make it work.
