Yes, you will have to buy your own Max232 chip to convert some of the ttl level serial ports. You could put that externally. Or maybe you can interface to something that has ttl level serial ports. TS is working on a board with a zigbee socket and RS232 level converters, but I don't think they have released that, and in any case, it would not be compatible with the wi-fi daughter board. They would probably give you the schematics though, so you could duplicate the part you need. Of course the trick is then figuring out how to connect it . . . .
