Hi ash,

It's quite straightforward to search through list archives on the yahoo
pages. If you'd have done so, you sould have noticed my post(s) about
2.6.19. I have extremely easy instructions for you to follow as well as
the patches and a .config necessary to compile the 2.6.19 kernel from
vanilla-sources.

Next time though, please don't try to push anyone that's working with
open source software. I mean, if you were paying them, that's another
story, but otherwise, it's a very easy way to make said developer less
likely to listen to you.

Currently I am working on 2.6.20.6, I'm not intending to just provide
the kernel to the members of this list, but also a full filesystem to
replace that provided by TS outright. This will be updateable using
Redboot to make things extremely simple.

The newer filesystem will have a uclibc userspace, which will increase
the amount of free space in flash by some hopefully large number.

The instructions I provided before for the 2.6.19 kernel didn't
accomidate yaffs2 support. However, you should be able to patch that
yourself from cvs.

===================================================================
export CVSROOT=:pserver::/home/aleph1/cvs
cvs logon
cvs checkout yaffs2

cd yaffs2

sh patch-kernel.sh <path_to_kernel>
