Hi --

Right now I think either one will require writing some code.  

CF was working at one point AFAIK, but needs to be updated.  Code is
on http://svn.wantstofly.org/kernel, and is all GPL, just needs some
attention.

SD, OTOH, needs a proprietary binary blob from TS, and needs the right
shims to be written for the 2.6 kernel.  And moving to EABI would
require a new blob from TS, but that has been offered:

SD card support is a recent addition to the vanilla, but it does not
apply to the minimal SD interface TS has implemented

USB storage / card readers should work no problem.
