[ts-7000] can't stop bootup at RedBoot anymore - TS-7200

I just started having a problem where I can't interrupt the boot process at 
RedBoot anymore.  
I've been pressing CONTROL-C at just the right time, but it continues booting 
from flash.  
Until today, I was able to CONTROL-C into the RedBoot prompt just fine.  Any 
ideas?
