Hi Walter,
I'm currently using the TS-7300, having stepped up from the TS-7200.
The only issue (other than larger physical size) relating to the TS-
7300 is that it needs an SD card to operate - so this needs to be
factored into the price.
The VGA output is very useful, and adding a USB keyboard (a Mac
keyboard works well) you have a diskless standalone computer system.
I'm not sure what changes there are relating to the TS-XDIO (possibly
a base address change) but the FPGA configuration is loaded
transparantly as the system powers up.
I'm hoping to be able to add some of my own magic sauce to the FPGA
to do some time critical sampling without the need for the CPU to be
running in hard real-time.
The other advantage of the TS-7300 is the large number of serial
ports, so hanging serial LCDs onto the unit doesn't tie up all the
CPUs serial ports.
Hope this helps,
PJE
