But the current kernel doesn't support compressed format, isn't it ?
So the userspace application should be able to use the uncompressed
stuff and it won't change anything.
Yes the users still need your driver with the decompressor, but it will
allow people to use external decompressor as soon as there is a library
or application that support it and not need to wait the next kernel
release and that their distribution support this kernel.
