Hi Peter, =0D
=0D
I bought the capsules for micbooster with short cables already attached, so=
it would be easy enough to wire up without soldering. However, I haven't t=
ested it yet but I'm not expecting the array will work well on plug-in powe=
r you'll get from handheld recorders like your LS-14.=0D
=0D
I have used the parabola with a single EM172 bought ready-made from micboos=
ter, and it worked fine. =0D
=0D
The improvement I'm getting from the array is not simply from the extra cap=
sules, it's also from the phantom conversion meaning I can run them at a hi=
gher voltage (7.5V) and then amplify them through the better quality xlr pr=
eamps on my recorder. =0D
=0D
I may post some pics at some point, but I want to come up with a better hou=
sing for the capules first and finish the wind protection.=0D
