Marco,

A short tube extension will produce an HF uplift in the direction of the
sound in the higher kilohertz. It's not quite a resonance but near, and It'=
s
too late at night to work out the theory why. :-)

The old AKG D109 lanyard personal mic for anyone old enough to remember had=

a sliding collar to enhance the HF. That was (is - I still have a D109)
about 10mm proud of the mic diaphragm.
