Norman,

I have done test recordings with the mikes simply placed on the sides of th=
e head, behind the ears, and behind the ears with ear canals, all being fed=
 the same frequency sweep through a pair of headphones. I don=92t expect it=
 to be a flat sweep, but at least it may allow me to see the change in freq=
uency response between them.

I tried initially putting the head on the ground, but I lost a lot of locat=
ion information. I=92ll have to do more experiments.
