David That's good to know about the "Zoom H5". As you would have seen from the horse videos, most of the sound I want to g= et is in large open areas. There isn't even many trees to block the sound. Using a mixer is a bit inconvenient for me when i want to do run and gun vi= deo. If I understand it corectly on explinations about the Zoom H5, shouldn't I = be able to plug a shotgun mic into it, then record onto it the sound the mi= c's on the Zoom pick up into 1 file, and the external shotgun mic picks up = into another file? I still don't understand mic's that require "Phantom Power" though. Can the= Zoom provide the power? Phil |
