For transfers of old tapes I recommend cassette decks with dual capstans. I use a Sony TC-K81 that I used for making ice skaters performance cassettes in my studio in the 80s. It also has azimuth adjustment accessible, very helpful for transferring. I had to change the rubber parts, not an easy job, but the parts kit was available on eBay. -Dan |
