Another budget option you might consider is that there are cheaper sources = of parabolas out there if you don't mind a little DIY. I bought one from t= he ebay seller named sdill471 and have been very happy with it. He (she?) = sells them with and without simple mics, but I bought just the dish without= the mic and it cost me less that $50 shipped to my house. It was a simple= matter to set it up with a cheap(er) cardioid microphone I had using some = pvc, some bailing wire and a shock mount.
