Thanks for that correction, Emanuele. I didn't see the mic/line input on
the H6 X/Y mic attachment. Still, the preamps on both the H6 and the H4n
are too noisy for my liking. Raimund lists the H4n at -107 dBu. The spec
sheet for the H6 states -120 dBu. I wonder if that figure applies to both
the XLR and the PIP inputs. Do you know?

The LS-100 also does both XLR and PIP, but the PIP input is quite horrible
according to both the spec sheet and several users. I don't own one
myself.
