I use the connbox 3 in my MS rig, the connbox has 2x 3pin XLR connectors fo=
r the mics in the blimp & a 5pin XLR connector for the external connection.
I'll be interesting to see if anybody uses a copper pipe, I've been thinkin=
g about a similar setup myself, thought about using a copper pipe and the u=
se tie clips at each end of the pipe to attach the DPA's.
Regards,
Dave

as a sort of flute, with the wind over the open end giving off a low-pitche=
d note? I have the old-style C-clips, rather than the current Lyre clips in=
both of my blimps.

very thin DPA cables that came with the 4060 Stereo Kit are very long and I=

believe would be suitable, the 019624 Connbox 3, to help minimise cable-han=

eb page as to whether the Connbox 3 has a 5-pin XLR output or if it uses tw=
o 3-pins.

a couple of Rycote blimps: one for a ME66; and the other for a MKH-418S. I =

also making it easier to attach the mikes to a stand for remote monitoring.
