There will be others along to give their opinions on what you term
frequency filtering. All I recall about this is that it was distance
related, and not particularly critical (my opinion). In regard as to
whether or not a parabola would be better than a shotgun such as you
mention, I think you'll find the general concensus of opinion would be yes.=

The Telingas do fold up.
