Thank you willem for your efforts in creating this tremendously
valuable resource.

I love recording in the field. I hate the post processing. I have long
dreamed of software where one can leave a long recording intact and
simply circle or draw a box around the signal and annotate the
recording in that way. Perhaps the software could even analyze the
track given ones annotations and can search out signatures and
classify them.

Has xeno-canto considered making a application for iPhone to date time
latitude longitude stamp stamp recording? This would facilitate
uploading to x-c.
