Keep in mind if it uses the headset jack, you are using the iPhone/iPod/iPa=
d's  converters. Arguably not great. If you are considering buying an iPod =
for recording purposes you might want to consider spending a bit more and g=
et something like the Apogee offering. More money but I'm guessing mug bett=
er quality conversion as that's what Apogee specializes in.

Also keep in mind that you might be limited on recording resolution using i=
Pods/iPhones/iPads.
