one question. have you tried connecting just one microphone at a time. try =
it with all four then try a pair, and then three. you will discover what th=
e current limitations of the R44 or (almost certainly any battery powered v=
oltage multiplied P48 will have a fairly low current limit, even if powered=
 from the wall wart the circuitry is designed to be powered by a low voltag=
e current limited source).
