I knew the 3.5mm socket would come up :)
I really loathe these little beasts with a passion, but as they seem endemi=
c in this area then I reluctantly agree that they are now in the spec.
menu-switchable PIP, never, no menus! :)
A PIP mic will draw whatever current it demands, it's not an option, but a =
variable supply voltage is something I'll look into. I don't really know en=
ough about the performance of PIP supplies but my gut feeling is that a 'hi=
gh enough' voltage would suit all.
