Being fond of miniature binaural mics and the like, if pip is already in the spec, I'd want a 1/8" / 3.5mm stereo miniplug input providing that pip... I have a lot of mics that terminate in that connector! :) Fwiw a 'sigh wouldn't it be nice' feature would be a menu-switchable PIP powering options for current and voltage... hey, one can dream!
