<<A quick look at the Ati ML200 manual states that it requires a +24 - 30 volt 
power supply and the phantom power voltage is only 20.2 volts, unless you order 
it with a special option to add an internal inverter to get the full +48v 
phantom power [I'm sure that would add cost]. The self noise (according to B&H) 
is not bad at -124 dBm, but the other aspects of the power supply and lack of 
full phantom voltage would make it difficult to work with in the field. >>

Check the specs on the intended AT mics about phantom requirements. Many 
condenser mics work just fine with no performance degradation at lower phantom 
voltages. Neumanns absolutely require 48 volts, but most AKGs run on as little 
as 12 volts.
