I have a replica or a better description is a mini version of a real tent t=
hey use for display in the store. That would be perfect to put microphones =
in if I would leave them in the forrest to record over night or so. It's ma=
de of the same material as the real tent so it's rain proof. I haven't trie=
d it yet for recording, but my cats like it. :) I have put it away during w=
inter now so I can't measure it, but I think it'a about 70cm long? Not sure=
though.
Sports stores or other stores that sell tents have them to show how the ten=
ts look when set up. I got mine for free from a store that was moving to an=
other city. Go and ask in a store it they can give you one. :) They may hav=
e replicas of old tent models they don't sell anymore.
It's of course foldable exactly as a tent in real size so it's easy to tran=
sport.
I think it would be perfect to point out a couple of shotgun mics through t=
he door. My model is like a tunnel tent. The mics should be protected from =
wind if setup in the "right" direction.
