Oryoki, thanks a lot for the Rode Videomic suggestion and especially the pointers t= o making it possible to use with the M10. I could actually buy Australian m= ade IN Australia which would be nice, and perhaps assuage some of the guilt= of buying the recorder from overseas! It might be something I can afford b= y March - I've had to wait for the recorder, I can wait for the mic. "There's a Videomic Pro now, as well. It seems to be the original Videomic = in a more attractive package. Price is $225." I called my local stockist and they reckoned the Pro version was more direc= tional but I can't find anything indicating that on the web. If there's no = real difference, why do people pay the extra $100 when both are available, = or am I missing something obvious? thanks Arwen .........................................
