Raimund, thank you! I, too, have difficulty knowing how to evaluate for musicians. I have will= propose: (1) that my friend go in with me to buy the Sony PCM-M10 or Olympu= s LS-11. or I'll get the Tascam DR-05 (the zoom is just too flimsy). Unless s= he needs XLR. I've noticed talking with B&H pro audio, that they don't know the Olympus recorders. If you had to choose between the Sony and the Olympus LS-11 woul= d you have a preference?
