Mr. Moser is quite right about a "migration" approach. I had to manage a vi= deo library for 30 years and some videos are now archived on their fourth m= edia type. An emerging option is saving online. Upload speeds and storage capacities k= eep getting better and more affordable. Once your data is "in the cloud" y= ou also have more options for sharing your media with others. This, of cour= se, simply moves the "migration" out of our hands and into the hands of peo= ple doing it for a living, but that's a service I'm willing to pay for. |
