t Date: Tue Feb 8, 2011 5:03 am ((PST)) Hi all, a couple of questions, Shotgun mic in the works hopefully before=C2= =A0spring arrives. I have looked at both the Sen ME66/K6 and the Sen MKH416. There is quite a = price difference in these mics. I want to go with quality, thats really important= to me. Is it worth the extra 5-$600 to purchase the MKH416 over the ME66 to ge= t what I am looking for? The second question. Has anyone used one of these mics with an omni mic (sa= y an AT4022 or MKH20)? I guess the idea right now is to 'focus' in on one specie= s or bird/amphibian during a morning chorus but also be able to effectively get = a good broad ambient reocording at the same time with an AT4022 or MKH20. Thanks all mark =C2=A0 Mark A. Brennan Canadian Landscape Painter www.markbrennanfineart.ca Nature Recordist http://wildearthvoices.org |
