Thank you to everyone for your thoughtful and helpful emails. I will definitely
get hold of Sony and plead with them to help me out on this matter.
Just to clarify, the disc will not operate at all. The player takes a minute to
attempt to find it, failing, then stating 'Format Disc Error'.
My player is the MZ-NH700. I was actually on the verge of buying an Edirol or
Olympus to replace my ageing minidisc, I think it will happen much quicker now!
I have just returned from the field, for the past few days I used my mic
through my Canon 7D SLR and recorded sound through video, so all I need to do
is extract the audio from the video as I was unable to find any recording
device in Medan, the only city I passed through.
